Pangolins are being eaten to extinction.


Pangolin populations are rapidly declining in Southeast Asia, due to the use of their flesh, skin, and scales for traditional Chinese medicine. Even pangolin fetuses are consumed.

Between 2000 and 2009, at least 30,000 pangolins were seized from wildlife smugglers.
